All eight planets form a line in the morning sky in July

On June 8, NASA released information that the James Webb Telescope (JWT) was struck by a micrometeoroid damaging one of its mirrors in late May.

Objects in space are constantly at risk of being hit by debris. While the objects have little mass (think dust particles) they are traveling at enormous speeds giving them powerful force according to Newton's second law where force equals mass times acceleration.

5 planets are visible in July night skies; meteor shower peaks July 30

The shorter nights of summer will still offer a variety of events for skywatchers, with all five major planets on display.

Mercury will drop quickly from the morning sky, so try to spot the little planet 30 minutes before sunrise on July 1, when it will be 6 degrees above the eastern horizon for observers at mid-northern latitudes. Then it will pass around the far side of the sun and move into the evening sky.

China's new plan to find 'Earth 2.0 ET' - Science News

UFOs sightings reported to Norfolk and Suffolk police | Eastern Daily Press

A Freedom of Information request revealed that there were 16 calls about UFOs (unidentified flying objects), lights in the sky, aliens or extraterrestrials recorded by Norfolk and Suffolk police in 2021.

One call came from a man in Cromer who had started a fire and told the crew "aliens have come" and told him to do it.

North Korean Lazarus hackers linked to $100M Harmony bridge theft – TechCrunch

Last week, U.S. crypto startup Harmony warned of a "malicious attack" on its Horizon Bridge , a cross-chain bridge that allows users to transfer their crypto assets from one blockchain to another .

London-based blockchain analysis provider Elliptic, which has published an analysis of the attack , writes that the hackers converted the stolen assets to 85,837 ETH through Tornado Cash, a mixer commonly used to launder illegally obtained crypto.

Norway accuses pro-Russian hackers of launching wave of DDoS attacks - The Record by Recorded Future

Norway's National Security Authority (NSM) accused pro-Russian hackers of launching several distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks at a number of critical organizations in the country. 

The NSM did not respond to requests for comment but the organization’s director Sofie Nystrøm released a statement saying several large Norwegian organizations were taken offline by the attacks in the last 24 hours.
