Space Perspective, a new space travel company, is set to offer luxury capsule flights to space in 2025. Passengers will arrive at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, undergo a safety briefing, and walkthrough the facilities before preparing for a six-hour space flight. Unlike Virgin Galactic's space flight, which lasts around 90 minutes to two hours, and Blue Origin's rocket-propelled experience, which is far shorter at around 11 minutes, Space Perspective's capsule goes up at nighttime, allowing passengers to experience the blackness of space before the sun rises and the Earth's curvature and atmosphere become visible.
The total price for a Space Perspective flight is $125,000 per passenger, which is significantly more cost-effective than tickets for a seat on Virgin Galactic ($450,000) or Blue Origin ($300,000 to $400,000).
One of the key differences between Space Perspective and its competitors is the presence of a fully stocked bar at the edge of space.
