What This Beauty Brand Learned From A Multi-Million Dollar Mistake On Black Friday

Wrong. FOREO's data for that same time frame ultimately showed that 38,575 UFO devices were purchased (roughly 20 UFO's sold globally through the brand's website  per second ), which cost the company approximately $10 million dollars. The FOREO team noticed the error when they were alerted that their website had crashed around 12:30 pm PST on Black Friday.

Hoxha continues, "As GM of North America, I quickly got on the phone with our global IT team and e-commerce team to discuss a quick resolution strategy. However, shortly after our website crashed for a second time due to the massive amount of traffic we were experiencing once word leaked out that there was a confirmed glitch in pricing, it left the UFO price issue unresolved."

UFO Sighting Documents Donated | Mental Floss

Rutkowski has been collecting reports of UFOs since 1975. In the past 40-plus years, he has published articles and 10 books on the subject of unidentified flying objects, with most of his research highlighting Canada's history of the strange happenings.

When the new collection becomes available as part of the University of Manitoba's archives, the public will be able to read documents related to that incident and others like it for the first time. The collection includes photos, research notes, reports, publications, and UFO zines Rutkowski has amassed over the years. Twenty thousand items are UFO reports filed over the past several decades, and 10,000 are UFO-related documents from the Canadian government.
