The UFO Sightings that Pushed the UK to Take 'Flying Saucers' More Seriously - HISTORY

In late September 1952, only months after a rash of “flying saucer” sightings over Washington, D.C. made headlines around the world, dozens of military officers participating in NATO exercises in the North Atlantic were struck by their own UFO fever.

Exercise Mainbrace was the largest peacetime military exercise since World War II . The war-game-style maneuvers simulated NATO’s response to a mock attack on Europe, presumably by the Soviet Union . The Mainbrace operation involved 200 ships, 1,000 planes and 80,000 soldiers from multiple NATO countries—including large deployments from the United States and the United Kingdom.

How Skinwalker Ranch Became a Hotbed of Paranormal Activity - HISTORY

Some have called it a supernatural place. Others have deemed it “cursed.” Terry Sherman got so spooked by the happenings on his new cattle ranch that 18 months after moving his family of four to the property now known by many as “Skinwalker Ranch” in southeastern Utah, he sold the 512-acre parcel away.

* * *

Under the name the National Institute for Discovery Science, Bigelow set up round-the-clock surveillance of the ranch, hoping to get to the bottom of the paranormal claims. But while that surveillance yielded a book, Hunt for the Skinwalker: Science Confronts the Unexplained at a Remote Ranch in Utah, in which several of the researchers claimed to have seen paranormal activities, they were unable to capture any meaningful physical evidence supporting the Shermans’ incredible stories.

In depth on UFOs, AATIP: Our interview with former Defense Department official Luis Elizondo |

Elizondo has been interviewed multiple times since leaving the Pentagon in 2017, and he’s taken lumps from critics who question whether he’s still working for the Defense Department, spreading disinformation.

In his longest, most in depth interview to date, Elizondo explained why it is imperitive that the goverment study these unexplained encounters, as reported by military eyewitnesses.

“They’re telling us they’re seeing something, that they don’t know what it is and we have to pay attention. which is backed up by electro-optical data, which is backed up by radar data, which is backed up by more and more layers. At some point you have to look.”

Streams of Starlink satellites reported as UFOS, and it will happen again | KLAS - 8 News Now

Frank Gonzales told Albuquerque’s KRQE News 13 what he saw earlier this week: "There were lights going across the whole sky . And at first, I'd seen them coming from a bright light over there, and then I started counting them, and I counted like 30."

Aliens. I thought it was UFOs, I really did. I've never seen nothing like it. I thought it was UFOs.

* * *

An experiment that was part of the Jan. 6 SpaceX launch attempted to “mask” satellites so they didn’t appear so bright in the night sky, but that technology is intended to be used when the satellites reach their final orbit — not when they initially stream through the sky soon after launch.

Former Navy Admiral Says UFO Analyses 'Inconclusive' | Military.com

SARASOTA -- America's former Chief of Naval Operations stated on Thursday that the unidentified flying objects that appeared to have outperformed Navy fighter pilots on videos recorded in 2004 and 2015 remain a mystery.

"I've seen the videos and, at least in my time, most of the assessments were inconclusive as to what it was," said retired Admiral Gary Roughead, following a speaking engagement in Sarasota. "But the whole issue of defense against autonomous vehicles is one that the department is taking pretty darned seriously."

Amy Klobuchar Hints at Declassifying UFO Info If Elected

In an interview this week, Amy Klobuchar suggested that she'd be open to revealing government secrets concerning UFOs if she's elected president.

The subject came up during an interview with the Conway Daily Sun , a New Hampshire daily. Months ago, a reporter with the paper asked Klobuchar about New Hampshire–native David Fravor, the former Navy pilot who first saw the now-infamous "Tic Tac" UFO in 2004 .

Alienware UFO vs. Nintendo Switch: The biggest differences I noticed - Business Insider

Alienware, the Dell-owned gaming PC maker, is typically known for its line of laptops and desktops, but at the CES tech conference in Las Vegas this week, it unveiled a different type of device: a concept gaming tablet that looks an awful lot like the Nintendo Switch.

Like Nintendo's hit console, Alienware's Concept UFO consists of a tablet with two controller pieces that snap on to either side of the device. There's also a kickstand for propping up the tablet when you're not playing it in handheld mode, much like the Switch. And like Nintendo's console, it's designed to be used in a variety of ways.
