Even if you could measure three black holes' locations as precisely as physically possible, you still might not know where the black holes would go. Such a trio's complex dance can be so chaotic that the motions are fundamentally unpredictable, new computer simulations show.
The paths of three black holes orbiting each other can be calculated based on their positions and velocities at one point in time. But in some cases, the orbits depend so sensitively on the black holes' exact positions that the uncertainty of quantum physics comes into play.

Virgin Orbit announces new plans for first Asian spaceport in Oita, Japan – TechCrunch
Working in collaboration with ANA Holdings and the Space Port Japan Association, Virgin Orbit says it is currently targeting Oita Airport as the site for its next launch site — the first in Asia — with a plan to start flying missions from the new location as early as 2022.
"We are eager to host the first horizontal takeoff and landing spaceport in Japan. We are also honored to be able to collaborate with brave technology companies solving global-level problems through their small satellites," said Katsusada Hirose, governor for the Oita Prefectural Government, in a press release. "We hope to foster a cluster of space industry in our prefecture, starting with our collaboration with Virgin Orbit."
Virgin Orbit plans to mass-produce new medical breathing device to help fight coronavirus
Richard Branson's aerospace company Virgin Orbit, which is primarily focused on developing rockets to launch small satellites into space, is shifting gears during the coronavirus pandemic and has created a new medical device to help health care workers treat patients with COVID-19. The company is hoping to mass-produce the new device after receiving the necessary approvals from the FDA.
The device that Virgin Orbit has created is one that can help people get much-needed oxygen when they're short of breath. The machine automatically pumps what are known as ambulatory bags, which emergency responders squeeze manually to pump air into a patient's lungs. The idea is that these machines will pump the bags on their own for patients who need oxygen but don't need to be hooked up to a ventilator.

Bad Astronomy | A *second* possible planet for Proxima Centauri!
The closest star in the Universe to the Sun is Proxima Centauri. It's a red dwarf: Tiny, cool, faint, orbiting a pair of more Sun-like stars we collectively call Alpha Centauri . Unremarkable, even more so for being one of hundreds of billions of such stars in our Milky Way alone. Were it not so close to us — a mere 4.244 light years away, in a galaxy 120,000 light years across — we'd hardly pay it any attention.
Except… in August 2016 astronomers announced they had confirmed the presence of a planet orbiting the diminutive star , and moreover it's very roughly the same mass as Earth , orbiting Proxima in its habitable zone.
Poloniex's New Tron-Powered IEO Platform Moves Exchange Closer to Justin Sun's Orbit -
Poloniex has launched an initial exchange offering (IEO) platform that aligns the exchange more closely with the interests of Tron founder Justin Sun.
Seychelles-based Poloniex – acquired by a group of investors including Sun in 2019 – said Sunday the new IEO platform, dubbed LaunchBase, would serve as a springboard to "help quality blockchain projects grow and further develop their ecosystem." The IEO platform, together with "launch partner" Tron, will promote user adoption through distributing tokens and professional consultation, Poloniex said in a blog post.
Orbiting 101: The dating phenomenon that you knew about all along - Metro US
As Elite Daily noted, the term was created by Man Repeller writer Anna Iovine. She picked this word because, well, it describes the situation perfectly: they're “ keeping you in their orbit .” This means you're “close enough to see each other; far enough to never talk.”
But she wasn't sure why it happened. “Was [it] that he still found me attractive but didn't want the pressure of dating [or] starting a relationship? Sheer laziness of making plans?”
TVC to campaign for Virgin Orbit's mass-producible ventilator for Covid-19 | The Drum
TVC Group is handling the UK broadcast media relations for Richard Branson's aerospace company Virgin Orbit, which has devised a new mass-producible ventilator to help in the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Virgin Orbit team has been consulting with the Bridge Ventilator Consortium (BVC), led by the University of California Irvine (UCI) and the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin), a group formed to spawn and nurture efforts to build producible, simple ventilators to aid in the current COVID-19 crisis.
