On April 28, the Pentagon gave believers in other-worldly phenomena some tantalizingly real pieces of evidence with the release of three short videos showing "unidentified aerial phenomena" - or UFOs. The Pentagon’s confirmation of the footage has stirred the interest in aliens and out-of-this world phenomena once again. Here are a few podcasts about aliens and UFOs to listen to.

UFO Sightings by US State: May 2020 - The Grey Area News
Each month, hundreds of US UFO sightings are reported to either the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) or the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) — while there is overlap, some reports are only in one database or the other.
Numbers below are as reported to MUFON, which collects citizen reports and catalogs them by date, location, shape, and when reported.
These are the reported sightings. Note that sightings are sometimes reported months or years later, and these numbers may go up over time.
The Vast of Night review — a haunting, retro UFO drama that deserves to really take off | Times2
★★★★☆
It opens in a blizzard of chatter and ends with hushed awe. Andrew Patterson's wonderfully assured directorial debut is ostensibly a retro UFO story. Patterson, however, does startling and haunting things with that formula, making a tiny budget go a long way.
Each section of the film is radically different from the last. The whole thing is framed as an episode of a Twilight Zone -style TV series called Paradox Theatre , but the opening sequences unspool like American Graffiti as written by Aaron Sorkin, all fancy-pants dialogue and extended walk-and-talks. We're in Cayuga, New Mexico, sometime in the 1950s. Everett, the young DJ of the radio station, is part of a swarm of people preparing for the high school's evening basketball game.

History Channel will cover an infamous Evansville-area UFO sighting
The figure toddled through the darkness. It was no more than three-feet tall, with two eyes that shined from the far edges of its head. And good lord: was it covered in metal? Or was that aluminum foil?
Lankford was one of several people who spotted the creature out the window of a cramped Bell, Kentucky, farmhouse on the night of Aug. 21, 1955. There was John Sutton and his brother Elmer; their wives; O.P. Baker; Billy Taylor; and a gaggle of children. And all of them were growing increasingly tense.

Flying saucers in Lancaster County: 7 moments that tell the story [From our archives] | LancLife
This cartoon by Intelligencer Journal staffer Jim Kinter appeared on the Intell's front page Oct. 4, 1956, alongside a story about local UFO spotter Eileen Bernhardt.
Long before "Ancient Aliens" became a cult classic of cable TV, the idea of extraterrestrial visitors caught the interest and imagination of the nation.
For decades, countless Americans (and people all over the world) kept their eyes on the skies, looking for telltale signs of "flying saucers," later dubbed unidentified flying objects or UFOs. Debates raged as to whether these mysterious visions were alien spacecraft, secret military hardware, misunderstood atmospheric phenomena or merely the products of mass hysteria.
