These types of systems could allow parking garages to have a charging infrastructure without the need to place a charging station at individual parking stalls. Instead, the rolling battery packs can be charged at a single location and deployed as needed.
There's no word on when the adorable robot car butler will become a reality. But in its release, Volkswagen stated, “The mobile charging robot has successfully reached prototype status and will now be comprehensively further developed.”

Readers React: The state of gynecologic robotic surgery | Contemporary OB/GYN
Elizebeth Harmon, MD, MBA, FACOG shares her thoughts on an article from Contemporary OB/GYN®'s November issue.
I read the article about robotic surgery ( The state of gynecologic robotic surgery, Contemporary OB/GYN®, November 2020 ) and I am dismayed that the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the ob/gyn world has embraced the robot despite the evidence for hysterectomy that transvaginal hysterectomy (THV) is safer. We are justifying less safe surgical options because the robots are available?

Robots are Offering Help to People with Paraplegics
An Indian health-tech start-up has developed an exoskeleton used as a robotic arm or leg for paraplegic patients combining robotics with artificial intelligence (AI). GenElek Technologies , the start-up was chosen to represent India at the Powered Exoskeleton Race, Cybathlon 2020 in Zurich before the coronavirus outbreak.
Exoskeletons, externally worn robotic support system, make it possible for people with neurological conditions like paralysis, stroke, and spinal cord injury to work or move better. Models like GenElek’s can tailor the customised design as per individuals’ needs. Such models can help paraplegics to walk again to learning to drive a car.

California: Nuro robot cars to deliver pizza, groceries, and medicine - Business Insider
San Francisco and Silicon Valley's streets have been bustling with self-driving vehicles from an array of companies for years. But those vehicles have only been issued permits for testing on public roads. Now, the robotics-startup Nuro has an official stamp of approval to start its paid service, according to the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
In 2017, California had granted Nuro approval to test its vehicles with safety drivers inside. In April 2020, it said the company could begin testing without drivers.
