What is Elon Musk's Starship? - BBC News

.css-14iz86j-BoldText{font-weight:bold;} Elon Musk is planning to soon launch the prototype of a vehicle that could be a game-changer for space travel. Starship, as it's known, will be a fully reusable transport system capable of carrying up to 100 people to the Red Planet.

Settling other planets would place some of the eggs in other baskets, sparing human civilisation if one of them were to experience a cataclysm.

"The alternative is to become a spacefaring civilisation and a multi-planet species, which I hope you would agree is the right way to go."

Cyberpunk 2077 DLC: Why Space Travel Is So Likely | Screen Rant

CD Projekt Red is just getting started with its plans for Cyberpunk 2077 . The Polish developer is committed to expanding Night City throughout 2021 and fixing the bugs that were present during the open-world title's controversial launch on December 10. Cyberpunk 2077 free DLC updates will begin to roll out in the early months of 2021, but CDPR has a much bigger expansion planned further down the line that could very likely include space travel.

The developer previously announced plans for a premium Cyberpunk 2077 DLC pack that will take players " deeper into the world of Cyberpunk 2077, offering substantial, story-driven content ." There's good evidence to believe that it will take place aboard a space station that's floating over Night City called the Orbital Air Space Center.

Future astronauts could use methane to make rocket fuel on Mars | Space

How will future astronauts get back home to Earth from Mars ? According to a new study, they could make rocket fuel from the methane that's already on the Red Planet.

Researchers have devised a new way to create methane-based rocket fuel that they hope could make return trips from Mars far more feasible. This method was previously theorized by Elon Musk and engineers at SpaceX who considered ways to use carbon dioxide and water from ice on Mars to have the necessary carbon and hydrogen necessary to create methane.

While you're here, how about this:

Montana Astronaut Loren Acton: How he got from a Lewistown ranch to outer space

"I was the youngest of six," he recalled. "And by the time I came along, it was the days of FDR and rural electrification. As a little kid, we had gas lamps. But then I remembered when electricity came and what magic that was."

Acton's father, Wilber Acton, was the first rancher to introduce Angus cattle to Fergus County. On the ranch, there was always something to be done. Everybody chipped in and did their part, and the work was tough. But it was on his family's homestead that Acton's curiosity for how things worked began to blossom.

Project Spaceport City will act as center for futuristic space travel - dlmag

Space travel has been a stuff of sci-fi novels and movies; but with the advancement of science and technology, private sector companies are competing to materialize interstellar travel for masses. Regardless of the time it will take to achieve that goal, the world will need a transportation hub that would act as a connection point between earth and space.

Envisioning that hub, Noiz Architects has designed the Spaceport City to act as a center for futuristic space travel. Initiated and released by Space Port Japan Association, Dentsu, and Canaria; the project would serve as a connecting point between earthly and space travel. Besides that, Spaceport City will act as an education center for people to learn more about space and space travel.
