Naturally, a fed would take the chance to federalize everything. He was referring to what we locals would call for what it is: JPL, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
Sure, the massive campus of scientists and engineers that has grown up in La Canada Flintridge from what started as our own White Sands — a rocket-testing range in the countryside — in the 1930s is ultimately a federal facility.
China will be first country after America to leave solar system

Now, however, China plans to become the second country to breach interstellar space. According to the Designer-in-Chief of China’s Lunar Exploration Program, Wu Weiren, the country will send out two probes to study the edge of the solar system—and, while they’re at it, celebrate the 100th anniversary of the People’s Republic Of China.

Blair County Commissioners celebrated the opening of a new trail at Fort Roberdeau last week. The Space & Time Discovery Tail was unveiled on Earth Day, April 22.
According to a press release from the fort, through the generosity of Allegheny Creamery & Crepes (Hollidaysburg, PA), Saint Francis University hosted their "Cosmic Cocktail" lecture series at the eatery with proceeds benefiting the Mountain Lion Observatory at Fort Roberdeau. Fort director Glenn Nelson and observatory director Jim Krug presented a proposal packet of interactive project ideas for consideration.

The small organic molecules found in meteorites are generally enriched in a heavy carbon isotope ( 13 C). However, the most abundant organic matter in meteorites is depleted in 13 C. Such a difference has long since puzzled scientists. It has been thought the small molecules came from 13 C enriched substances found in the extremely cold outer solar system and/or the solar nebula.
However, a team of researchers from Tohoku University and Hokkaido University has presented a new hypothesis. They argue that the formose-type reactions, the formation of sugar from formaldehyde, create sizeable differences in the 13 C concentration between small and large organic molecules.
Wet'nWild'Hawaii launches new 1.3-megawatt solar system
HONOLULU (KHON2) — Wet’n’Wild Hawaii launched its new 1.3-megawatt solar system on Thursday, April 22, making the park a 100% solar-powered attraction.
Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi also presented a proclamation to the former general manager and current City & County of Honolulu Director of Enterprise Services, Jerry Pupillo, proclaiming April 22 as "Wet'n'Wild Hawai'i Green Energy Day."
The 1.3-megawatt solar system contains 2,958 high-efficiency 440-watt solar panels that can fully power the park during work hours.

Insoluble organic matter (IOM), which represents the major carbon pool in carbonaceous meteorites, is depleted in 13 C relative to the terrestrial standard, as represented by negative δ 13 C values ranging from −34 to −17‰ for unheated Renazzo-like (CR) and Mighei-like (CM) carbonaceous chondrites ( 13 ). This depletion is also found in refractory organic macromolecules in interplanetary dust particles and cometary materials ( 14 , 15 ).
