Leaked video appears to show UFO plunging under water off California - National | Globalnews.ca

A newly leaked video from the U.S. navy appears to show an unidentified flying object diving into the ocean off the coast of San Diego in 2019, in a clip that officials say is authentic.

The new footage shows a dark spherical object flying over the ocean as seen through an infrared camera at night. The sphere appears to move rapidly across the screen before stopping and slowly easing down into the water. Corbell says the footage was recorded off a monitor inside the USS Omaha ‘s Combat Information Center, and a few military members can be heard remarking on the object in the video.

Former US President Barack Obama has suggested that there are things that he 'can't tell' people about aliens.

Speaking during an appearance on 'The Late Late Show with James Corden', Obama said: "When it comes to aliens, there's some things I just can't tell you on air."

The 59-year-old politician did reveal that he asked if there was a secret lab he needed to know about that was hiding alien information when he entered the White House in 2009.

Fact check: Elongated skulls in Peru are human not alien, expert says

Their unique shape has prompted speculation over time, including various claims of an extraterrestrial origin.

In the Facebook post, the user points out the shape of the skull and the eye sockets as proof of alien origin. But an expert on that time period says that's not the case.

"Prehispanic peoples on the south coast of Peru and elsewhere in Peru have engaged in this practice for thousands of years," said Murphy. "Deliberate head shaping is a form of cultural modification of the body that marks different things, like one's identity, a rite of passage, (or) an occupation."

China prepares to launch rocket carrying space station supplies

But it was heavily reprimanded by the United States and many experts for a potentially dangerous breach of space etiquette for letting a massive rocket segment free-fall to Earth earlier this month after launching the core module of China's space station .

In the upcoming mission, the Tianzhou-2 cargo craft will blast off on a 14-tonne Long March 7 rocket, and is expected to carry essentials such as food and space suits to the core module.

The space station—named Tiangong, meaning "heavenly palace"—will need around 10 missions in total to complete assembly in orbit.

Scientists Find Plutonium Made in Outer Space on Ocean Floor | Smart News | Smithsonian

Scientists studying a hunk of Earth’s crust gathered from deep in the Pacific Ocean have discovered traces of rare forms of plutonium and iron whose chemical makeup suggests they were forged in powerful collisions or explosions in outer space before falling to Earth, reports Nell Greenfieldboyce for NPR .

Instead, the paper proposes that other interstellar events such as the collision of two super-dense collapsed stars, called neutron stars , or certain rare types of supernovae, according to Science News .

Grizzlies eliminate Spurs from Play-in Tournament, advance to play Warriors - The Athletic

Jonas Valanciunas finished with 23 points and 23 rebounds, Dillon Brooks had 24 points and the Grizzlies ended the Spurs' season in the No. 9 vs. No. 10 matchup. The Grizzlies will play Friday against the Golden State Warriors , who lost to the Lakers in the 7-8 game. The winner of Friday's game will play the Utah Jazz in the first round.

The Spurs trailed by as many as 21 points in the first half and didn't take a lead until 7 1/2 minutes left in the fourth quarter. For the first time in their franchise's 45 years in the NBA, the Spurs will miss the playoffs in consecutive seasons.
