Data from the Treasury’s Block Grant Transparency revealed today shows that since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Scottish Government has received an additional £14.5billion.
As well as £14.5billion of funding from the UK Government, additional support also includes the furlough scheme, of which SNP ministers have requested an extension, support for self-employed people and help for businesses.

he Defence Secretary said it is "perfectly legitimate" for his department to fund the building of a national flagship to succeed the Royal Yacht Britannia, despite budget pressures.
The vessel – which could reportedly cost £200 million – is due to be paid for out of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) budget, even though No 10 has confirmed the ship will be for trade rather than defence purposes.

The Prime Minister's official spokesman told reporters on Monday: "This new national flagship will boost British trade and drive investment into the economy.
"The procurement process, which is being done through the MoD, will reflect its wide-ranging use and so it will be funded through the MoD, as set out previously."
