The "bright green flying object" was seen by a Canadian military jet and a KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flight.
An aviation incident report released on Wednesday said the sighting happened on a stretch of open water between Quebec and Newfoundland on July 30.

A Canadian military pilot and another pilot of a passenger airline have reported UFO sightings on July 30 over the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. Both the pilots reported that the alleged UFO spotted in the skies was green in color, and it screeched across the skies before vanishing into the clouds.

The "dot" appeared near the famous Nazca Lines – a collection of more than 300 different figures, including animals and plants, drawn into the soil between 500 BC and AD 500.
