For the first time ever astronomers have caught a glimpse of light being reflected from behind a supermassive blackhole.
The blackhole is 800 million light-years away from Earth and confirms Albert Einstein’s theory.
Einstein theorised more than a century ago the gravitation pull of blackholes is so strong, light bends around them.

Black Hole is known for its immense dark blackness that does not allow light to pass through. However, recently astronomers have detected light behind a black hole for the first time.
"Any light that goes into that black hole doesn't come out, so we shouldn't be able to see anything that's behind the black hole," said Stanford University astrophysicist Dan Wilkins in a statement.
