Students of all ages are invited to meet and learn about the exciting work of these talented women during the third WiSE Talks, or Women in Space Exploration, series. The online event is free and open for anyone to attend.

WASHINGTON — Bahrain became the latest country to join the Artemis Accords as the agreement regarding principles for cooperation in space exploration continues to expand beyond traditional spacefaring nations.
Mohamed Al Aseeri, head of the National Space Science Agency of Bahrain, signed the Accords March 2 during the U.S.-Bahrain Strategic Dialogue. While the signing was briefly mentioned as part of those meetings, it was not formally announced by NASA and the State Department until March 7.

The Hubble Space Telescope captured a laser-like jet that represents a "tantrum" being thrown by an infant star.
"The result," the officials added, "is the colorfully wispy structures, which astronomers refer to as Herbig–Haro objects, billowing across the lower left of this image." (Herbig-Haro objects are bright patches of gas, or nebulosity, near newborn stars.)

The Tyler Junior College Earth & Space Science Center featuring Hudnall Planetarium has announced a slate of new dome shows — plus special operating hours during spring break.
For the week of March 14-19, the science center will be open 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday.
