Robots to take orders, serve food at new Japanese eatery in Easton - lehighvalleylive.com

Takkii Ramen is moving into space by early fall at 36 N. 3rd St., in Downtown Easton. The space previously was occupied by an electronics retailer.

Guests looking to feast on popular Japanese cuisine at a new Easton restaurant could be greeted by hosts and servers that aren't human.

A new approach to reproduce human and animal movements in robots

Researchers at DeepMind have recently created a new technique that can be used to efficiently train robots to replicate the movements of humans or animals.

"We investigate the use of prior knowledge of human and animal movement to learn reusable locomotion skills for real legged robots," the team at DeepMind wrote in their paper.
