Space tech startups fall out of VC orbit | Reuters

Oct 18 (Reuters) - Space technology startups are being forced to limit their sky-high ambitions, as their venture-capital backers turn to safer bets due to the current economic turmoil, VC firm Space Capital said.

Decades-high inflation, rapidly rising interest rates and the Ukraine war have roiled global financial markets, forcing investors to evaluate their investment strategies and focus on companies with viable products in the market.

NASA announces UFO study group members | Space

In June, the space agency announced that it had commissioned a panel to investigate UFOs , or, as they have recently been rebranded, " unidentified aerial phenomena " (UAP).

Fall has arrived, and so has the study's start date — nearly, anyway. The panel will begin its work on Monday (Oct. 24), NASA officials wrote in an update (opens in new tab) today (Oct. 21).
