The United States' space agency announced it has selected 16 individuals to participate in the much-awaited study of unidentified aerial phenomena, or what are more commonly referred to as UFOs.
The team will kick off the study Monday and is scheduled to spend nine months reviewing previous observations and determining how to analyze data on future events.
Massachusetts among states with most reported UFO sightings
There are dozens of reported UFO sightings documented each year and Massachusetts is among the top 20 states where you're most likely to spot one, according to a new report.
California is the UFO capital of America with 15,401 sightings, researchers found. Florida was a distant second with 7,749 sightings. Washington, Texas, and New York rounded out the top five states with the most reported sightings.
