Companies Develop Robots to Make Clothes

Large clothing and technology companies, including Siemens AG and Levi Strauss & Co., are developing robots to make clothes. The process of using robots or computers for human work, known as automation, has raised concerns about jobs for many people around the world.

The worldwide clothing market is estimated to be worth $1.52 trillion, the independent research group Statista says.

Robots to begin delivering food for Uber Eats

The companies say they are working with merchants in Dadeland to provide on-demand deliveries with their sidewalk delivery robots.

Robots Now Know When They Are Damaged And How To Self-Heal

With work published in the journal Science Advances , researchers at Cornell University have developed a new material that has the ability to detect damage when installed on a robot.

The process of self-healing for these robots should take place in a space that is room temperature, and the new technology can occur without any human interaction whatsoever.
