UAE Mars orbiter creates stunning new map of the Red Planet | Space

A new map of Mars shows the Red Planet in stunning detail, revealing a wealth of fascinating geological features as seen from orbit. 

The high-resolution map could help scientists answer a number of pressing questions about Mars including how it came to be a dry, arid, and barren landscape despite once being abundant with liquid water.

NASA Announces Selection of Candidates for CubeSat Space Missions - SpaceRef

NASA has selected eight small research satellites across seven states to fly to space helping address aspects of the agency's education, science, or technology development goals.

These missions currently are planned to launch in the 2024 to 2027 timeframe. The selected CubeSats were proposed in response to NASA's CubeSat Launch Initiative (CSLI) call for proposals issued on Aug. 8, 2022.

'Ant-Man' star Paul Rudd quizzes NASA expert on quantum science | Space

In the latest installment of the highly-successful Marvel Cinematic Universe, " Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania ," the title character, played by Paul Rudd shrinks down to the quantum realm to give its despotic ruler, Kang, a big headache. 

The movie clearly got its star, Rudd thinking about quantum physics , the field of science that describes physics on the subatomic scale. In a new YouTube video that has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, the Ant-Man star spoke to NASA quantum physicist Ethan Elliott.
