Scientists in the U.S. are working on a biodiversity "lunar ark" to store seeds on the moon more safely than the Svalbard Seed Vault does.
The potential for catastrophic biodiversity loss has University of Arizona scientists in the United States working on a “lunar ark” to one day store seeds on the moon – a concept that comes amid deepening concern about the Svalbard Seed Vault and other storage sites that remain on an increasingly vulnerable earth.

"The moon follows the ecliptic plane so it will pass by the brighter stars on the ecliptic plane and also the planets".

He's been an assistant observer with the Thomas G Cupillari Observatory at Keystone College for nearly 40 years.
He says that since our moon was named after Artemis the archer you can use a "bow and arrow trick" with the moon to help identify planets and stars.
If you look at the moon and you see that nice crescent phase and you think of that as a bow. If you take an imaginary arrow and sling it towards where the planet would be you'll find the planet," said Sabia.
The March 2021 Full Moon Will Affect These Zodiac Signs The Least
While this lunation is still likely to be an emotional one for you, Pisces, the vibes will feel more gentle on you compared to most other zodiac signs. That's because it's taking place in your transformative eighth house, which will help you change the dynamics within your relationships by doing under-the-surface work. Leaning into your mystical side is a great way to work with this lunar energy.
Full Moon To Light Up Michigan Sky This Weekend
There are clouds and rain in the forecast, however you might catch a peak of the fourth closest full moon of the year. Named after the worms that start to emerge this time of year, this full moon is called a Worm Moon. Other names include the Crow Moon and the Sugar Moon.
April, May and June will all feature full moons that are closer, with the full moon of May being the closest of the year. That makes this weekend's moon the fourth closest. If you're going to make an effort to see the moon, you might also spot a few planets. According to WOOD TV , Mars will be high on the horizon in the west. Jupiter and Saturn will be close together in the early morning sky about an hour before sunrise. Look low in the east-southeast to see the two.

Remains of impact that created the Moon may lie deep within Earth | Science | AAAS
Theia, perhaps as big as the proto-Earth, would have delivered its densest rocks inside the planet.
Scientists have long agreed that the Moon formed when a protoplanet, called Theia, struck Earth in its infancy some 4.5 billion years ago. Now, a team of scientists has a provocative new proposal: Theia's remains can be found in two continent-size layers of rock buried deep in Earth's mantle.
For decades, seismologists have puzzled over these two blobs, which sit below West Africa and the Pacific Ocean and straddle the core like a pair of headphones. Up to 1000 kilometers tall and several times that wide, "they are the largest thing in the Earth's mantle," says Qian Yuan, a Ph.D. student in seismology at Arizona State University (ASU), Tempe.

Revealed: Why We Should Look For Ancient Alien Spacecraft On The Moon, Mars And Mercury According
Described as evidence for the use of technology or industrial activity in other parts of the Universe, the search for technosignatures has barely begun, but could unearth something surprising without much additional spend, says the study.
Perhaps most intriguingly, the paper suggests that interstellar probes might have been sent into the Solar System a long time ago, perhaps during the last close encounter of our Sun with other stars.
The closest star to the Sun right now, Proxima Centauri, is over 4.2 light-years distant, but roughly every 100,000 years a star comes within nearly a light-year from the Sun. There have therefore been "tens of thousands" of opportunities for technologies similar to ours to have launched probes into our Solar System, according to the paper.
