Of the two hacker groups, the first -- identified only as "Attack Group A" -- appears to be, by far, the more sophisticated of the two.
According to Qihoo, the group popped up on their radar on December 4, last year, when they detected a pretty complex attack on DrayTek devices.
When a DrayTek router received and then decrypted the boobytrapped RSA-encrypted login data, it ran the malicious code and granted the hackers control over the router.

The campaign, which lasted between January 20 and March 11, targeted 75 organizations ranging in nearly every economic sector: telecommunications, healthcare, government, defense, finance, petrochemical, manufacturing, and transportation. The campaign, believed to be run by APT41 , targeted nonprofit, legal, real estate, travel, education, and media organizations as well.

Cybersecurity insurance company Chubb , which provides aid to companies affected by data breaches, has been hit by one itself, according to a report by TechCrunch .
The company said it was looking into a "security incident" that involved unauthorized access with a third-party company.
Jeffrey Zack, a spokesperson for the company, said there was "no evidence" that the breach had hit the company's own network, adding that it was "fully operational." Zack did not say anything beyond that.

Deer.io was a top market for stolen accounts: a place where crooks could buy and sell credentials for hacked accounts siphoned off of malware-infected computers, PII, and financial and corporate data.

A hacking organization tried to breach the World Health Organization (WHO) recently, according to a report by Reuters .
WHO Chief Information Security Officer Flavio Aggio said the identity of the hacking group isn't known, and cyberattacks against the organization have increased exponentially during the coronavirus crisis.
While Urbelis said he didn't know exactly who was responsible, other sources said they suspected hacking group DarkHotel, a group that has been around since 2007.
