A private company that researches UFOs has a new contract with the U.S. government, for developing technologies that could enhance ground vehicles in the military.
Other divisions at TTSA focus on new technology. On Oct. 17, TTSA representatives announced that the group had entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, according to a statement .
The five-year contract outlines a research collaboration, and the U.S. Army will provide at least $750,000 in support and resources for developing and testing TTSA technologies, Motherboard reported on Oct. 21.
Those technologies could include "inertial mass reduction, mechanical/structural meta materials, electromagnetic meta material wave guides, quantum physics, quantum communications, and beamed energy propulsion," according to the contract.

US Army Will Study 'Metamaterials' Collected by UFO Study Group - Defense One
UFO truthers don't typically hold a lot of credibility within the research community, but today the Defense Department is acknowledging at least one such group could have some serious contributions to make.
The Army Combat Capabilities Development Command recently partnered with the To The Stars Academy to study a wide variety of different technologies and materials, most of which sound like they were pulled straight from a sci-fi movie. The cooperative research and development agreement is set to last five years and could ultimately help the Army develop new capabilities for its fleet of ground vehicles.
"To the Stars Academy of Arts and Science is a company with materiel and technology innovations that offer capability advancements for Army ground vehicles," officials wrote in the agreement, a copy of which was provided to Nextgov . "The [Academy] will share their innovations with the government, who will use its laboratories and resources to characterize the technologies and determine if they have appropriate applications on ground vehicles."
'UFO clouds' create spectacle in skies over Tasmania - ABC News (Australian
It's not just the dancing lights of the Aurora Australis or the vibrant blue algae of bioluminescence that wow shutterbugs in Australia's southernmost state.

Snaps of sphere-shaped clouds lit up social media this week, with users capturing a spectacular display of "alien space ships" spotted across Tasmania.
Lenticular clouds form when winds travel over mountain ranges and form waves and, when the wind cools, they appear to stand alone in the sky.
"If there is a slight difference in speed or humidity of the air it will cause differences in the clouds that form," he said.
"My kids always referred to them as alien space ship cloaking devices," Yvonne Kerklaan said, adding to the public opinion that the clouds resembled UFOs.
They are also common in other locations surrounded by mountain ranges, like the Andes in South America.
UFOs Remain Elusive Despite Decades of Study | Space
In July, the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) celebrates 50 years of investigating and promoting research on the unidentified flying object phenomenon. The all-volunteer, nonprofit, science-based organization has endeavored since 1969 to hunt down answers about baffling vehicles of unknown origin.
Based in Irvine, California, MUFON makes its credo clear-cut on its website: "Our goal is to be the inquisitive minds' refuge seeking answers to that most ancient question, 'Are we alone in the universe?' The answer, very simply, is no. Whether you have UFO reports to share, armchair UFO investigator aspirations, or want to train and join our investigation team, MUFON is here for you. Won't you please join us in our quest to discover the truth?"
After five decades, has there been any scientific pay dirt in studying UFOs? Are we inching closer to the truth that is perhaps out there?

UFO Group Sharing Exotic Materials With Army for Combat Vehicles
The Army is researching whether materials an outside group says were collected from UFOs can be used as cutting-edge technology in combat vehicles, according to interviews and a new research and development agreement.
The exploratory research is being conducted jointly by the new U.S. Army Futures Command and the To The Stars Academy, which has obtained what it says are exotic meta-materials that may have otherworldly origins and useful applications for the military.
The Army command was created last year to spearhead technological innovation and the vehicle research represents the first formal cooperation between the military and the To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science , formed in 2017 by rock musician and UFO believer Tom DeLonge. The group is best known for releasing widely publicized and authenticated Navy fighter jet cockpit videos that appear to show unknown aircraft with baffling flight capabilities.
German cabin crew union UFO calls for two days of strike at Lufthansa - Reuters
FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Flights attendants’ union UFO on Monday called for a two-day strike at Lufthansa’s ( LHAG.DE ) German operations later this week, citing an ongoing labor dispute with Germany’s largest airline.
UFO said a 48-hours strike would be held from Nov. 6, 2300 GMT until Nov. 8, 2300 GMT (Nov. 7, 0000 CET until Nov. 9, 0000 CET), adding that all Lufthansa flights starting in Germany during that time would be affected.
“Just as with the last warning strikes the whole company will be affected by this new dispute. We are pointing out to our colleagues and customers that further announcements are possible at any time,” UFO deputy chief Daniel Flohr said.

Jurica Dujmović says a military patent could explain mysterious objects caught on video by a jet-fighter pilot
* * *
Last month the U.S. Navy confirmed that three videos of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) taken by airplane pilots a few years ago are indeed authentic. (Notice we're not saying "unidentified flying object," or UFO.) This means the videos went through the U.S. military, so it can be assumed they have not been computer-generated or altered.
Commander David Fravor, who flew one of the fighters in the video ("Gimbal"), describes the object as "Tic Tac"-shaped, 40-feet long, with no wings, exhaust or discernible propulsion. After some maneuvering, the object ended up hovering above the water. Moments later, it rapidly ascended to 12,000 feet and finally accelerated away at a speed the commander suggested was "well above supersonic."
