We are not alone? Mysterious object found in Utah during sheep count

UTAH — Not since a monolith was found on the surface of the moon in Stanley Kubrick's classic "2001: A Space Odyssey" has a mystery object confounded the greatest minds of our generation.

The Utah Highway Patrol posted a photo to social media Friday showing a curious metallic-looking object found during a count of big horn sheep somewhere in the state.

According to the post, the item was found buried in the "middle of nowhere" with UHP asking the public what they think it is. One person suggested "it fell off the UFO we've been seeing in Ogden lately."

Sprawling rural Nevada county sees surge in COVID-19 cases - The Register Citizen

The 82-year-old resident of rural Panaca, a nearly three-hour drive from Las Vegas, is largely homebound and has battled pneumonia six times in the past 13 years.

So when she felt run-down in May, it wasn’t surprising. But her symptoms continued for more than a month and she developed a 101-degree fever (38.3 Celsius) — unusual because hypothyroidism typically keeps her body temperature cool.

“We really thought there were going to be no more patients. Then bam, we had 19, then 34 and then 39 and 44, in a couple days,” McCracken said. “It was just startling because we are very sparsely populated.”

'There's something out there!

Last week, the Pentagon released three videos captured by infrared cameras on U.S. Navy jets that seem to show mysterious "aerial phenomena".

Recorded during training flights in 2004 and 2015, they show unidentified flying objects moving so quickly that they amaze the pilots watching them.

The videos had previously been leaked and acknowledged as real by the Navy and reported on by media outlets, but they have now been declassified to clarify that they are real.

Truth Beyond Belief: 'Intimate Alien' | WUNC

Evidence matters little in the case of UFOs. In the U.S., 45% of people believe UFOs exist and have visited Earth, according to a 2020 Ipsos poll . Yet those pushing for government transparency and scientific inquiry often face ridicule. How can a belief so widespread be marginalized at the same time?

Members of the Association of Scientific UFO Research of Tamaulipas, or Aicot, believe that an inter-dimensional underwater base of extraterrestrial origin has protected the coastal cities of Ciudad Madero and Tampico from hurricanes for more than 50 years.

Aicot's president, Juan Carlos Ramón López Díaz, claims to have visited the base – known as Amupac – via astral projection, which he says he induced through meditation and a pescatarian diet.

What Really Happened at Roswell? - HISTORY

In the annals of American UFO history, few incidents have inspired as much fascination—and speculation—as the one in Roswell, New Mexico.

But behind all the UFO mania lies an uneasy truth. The events that transpired that summer are anything but clear-cut, with admitted coverups and conflicting explanations: It was a saucer! It was a spy craft! It was the Soviets!

'Holy grail' or epic hoax?

If her story is to believed, on August 7, 1993, Gippsland woman Kelly Cahill saw a UFO and beings from another world.

But her story had something other alien visitations didn't — independent witnesses who could potentially back up her story.

Along with her then-husband Andrew, who was in the car with her on that fateful night on Melbourne's south-eastern fringes, there were reportedly four other people in two separate cars who would be able to verify her otherworldly claims.
