Super pink moon is coming Monday night

Earth's nearest neighbor will look full the night before and night after Monday night's peak in North America.

A super moon is a new or full moon that happens at the time of the month when the moon is closest to Earth in its orbit, also known as perigee.

That means the moon is going to look extra big and bright – up to 14% bigger and 30% brighter than a micro moon, or when a full moon is farthest away from Earth, NASA says.

For years, James Evans sold his Moon Mountain coffee at farmers markets — he owned the Costa Rican farm where the coffee beans came from, after all.

Now, with the coronavirus pandemic restrictions easing, Evans is taking the next step and opening a coffee shop — appropriately named Moon Mountain Coffee — on Second Street in Belmont Shore.

April 2021 Super Pink Full Moon In Scorpio | InStyle

They say the truth will set you free, but with that freedom may come some discomfort. That sentiment will never feel truer than on this month's full moon, which will arrive in the mysterious sign of Scorpio on Monday, April 26. Though it may feel like sailing on stormy (inner) seas, this lunar phase will help you keep moving forward into sunnier climes.

However, the full moon also has a way of illuminating things that were previously hidden away. This is the point in the lunar cycle where matters come to a head — and the fact that this is a super full moon means we'll feel its effects to an even greater degree. So, if something has been building up within the depths of your psyche recently, it could very easily breakthrough into the open this Monday.

The UK's space agency is hunting for 'moon trees' grown from seeds that went on the Apollo 14

(CNN) Fifty years ago, NASA's Apollo 14 completed the third crewed mission to the moon. On board the spacecraft as it landed in the Pacific Ocean on February 9, 1971, was some unusual cargo -- about 500 tree seeds.

There could be as many as 15 Moon Trees in the UK -- trees grown from seeds flown around the Moon by NASA astronaut Stuart Roosa in 1971. But where are they now?

The RAS & @spacegovuk would love to know - if you have any information, get in touch! https://t.co/PjJLJdmsUK pic.twitter.com/sOM4k82FYv

S.Korea's Moon vows to end new funding for overseas coal projects

SEOUL, April 23 (Reuters) - South Korean President Moon Jae-in announced on Thursday his country would end all new financing for overseas coal projects and would soon set a more ambitious schedule for slashing carbon emissions.

Moon made the promises during a video address to a two-day virtual climate summit convened by U.S. President Joe Biden.

The announcement makes official parts of a "Green New Deal" proposed by Moon's ruling party last year, which set ambitious goals of net-zero emissions by 2050, an end to funding of overseas coal plants and introduction of a carbon tax.

IS the Moon There If No One Looks? Or Is There No "There" There? | Mind Matters

Bruce Gordon: So another phenomenon that's really quite fascinating is a phenomenon of non-localizability of individual particles. The individual particle can't be two places at once. Furthermore, it can't serve as an infinite source of energy. So you can't run the power needs of New York City on a single electron from here to eternity, right?

So what does that mean? It means that unobserved quanta don't exist anywhere in space, and thus have no existence apart from being observed. Interestingly enough, there have been experiments conducted that would support quantum formalism. What does that mean then?

How to Make Moon Water for Your Beauty Routine | Allure

But what exactly is moon water, anyway? Basically, it's distilled water charged under the new and full moon, believed to absorb lunar energy to help us tap into our subconscious feelings and emotions. It also helps to heal and revive aspects of our spiritual body.

One thing, though: Stardust highly advises to not make moon water during an eclipse. The energy of the lunar nodes overpowers the moon's potent phases, which are used to make moon water, so steer clear.

Review: Agelocer Silver Moon Automatic - kickstart this full moonphase watch -

Today we take our focus on an automatic Moonphase watch with a huge display, offered by a relatively unknown company called Agelocer. We had the new Silver Moon Automatic in the house for about a week, and here is our hands-on review of the watch.

We know little of the brand, but from our initial discussions with Ken, they are an international mechanical watch brand, headquartered in China, but with the design from an international team and a global parts supply chain. A quick look at their website reveals they have a number of product lines, and seem serious at the business of horology, with a commitment to provide quality products for modest prices. The brand claims to be one of the largest mechanical brands in China.

Plantin' by the Signs … and other things: Moon moving to dark phase for below-grounders |

After nearly two great weeks for above-grounders, featuring a mix of the signs under the light moon, we have a couple of more days before the moon moves to the dark phase and our attention turns to below-ground producers, still from the cool-weather list.

Speaking of that, as I write this, we are on the edge of a late-April snow event and some chilly temperatures to follow. That is why we stick with veggies that love cool weather and soil temperatures — like those on the list — and wait a few more weeks to plant those lovely tomato plants now being offered at garden centers everywhere.
