Haunted House? These People Are in Isolation With Ghosts. - The New York Times

In mid-April, Mr. Gomez was in bed when a nearby window shade began shaking against the window frame so intensely — despite the fact that the window was closed, an adjacent window shade remained perfectly still, the cats were all accounted for, and no bug nor bird nor any other small creature had gotten stuck there — that Mr. Gomez thought it was an earthquake.

"I very seriously hid myself under the comforter, like you see in horror movies, because it really did freak me out," he said.

Elon Musk Starlink satellites: how to spot them in the UK tonight - and why they've been mistaken

If you haven't managed to spot them yet, there will be a chance to see them flash across the night sky again tonight (18 May).

The firm sends satellites up into the Earth's orbit in batches of 60, with the most recent launch taking place in mid-March.

* * *

So far, the firm has deployed more than 300 satellites into space and is working towards a network of 12,000, with the aim of improving global internet coverage.

The satellites appear in a line crossing the night sky and their current orbital position has made them easier to spot in the past few days.

How Skinwalker Ranch Became a Hotbed of Paranormal Activity - HISTORY

Some have called it a supernatural place. Others have deemed it “cursed.” Terry Sherman got so spooked by the happenings on his new cattle ranch that 18 months after moving his family of four to the property now known by many as “Skinwalker Ranch” in northeastern Utah, he sold the 512-acre parcel away.

* * *

Under the name the National Institute for Discovery Science, Bigelow set up round-the-clock surveillance of the ranch, hoping to get to the bottom of the paranormal claims. But while that surveillance yielded a book, Hunt for the Skinwalker: Science Confronts the Unexplained at a Remote Ranch in Utah, in which several of the researchers claimed to have seen paranormal activities, they were unable to capture any meaningful physical evidence supporting the Shermans’ incredible stories.
