SpaceX releases 60 more Starlink satellites to orbit | Astronomy.com
The satellites might provide internet to the world one day, but they’re a subject of controversy in the world of astronomy.

Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, claims the satellites will be barely visible when they’re in their final orbits. But many astronomers still worry the satellites could produce harmful light pollution that affects science observations.
The booster, which is designed to be reused up to 10 times, was caught Monday by SpaceX’s drone ship, Of Course I Still Love You , in the Atlantic Ocean. It touched down in the middle of the landing pad without missing a beat. SpaceX planned to catch the nose cone with drone ships as well, but due to rough sea conditions the company decided to retrieve the nose cone with two drone ships after it splashed down into the ocean.

Since the dawn of the space age in the 1950s, we have launched thousands of rockets and sent even more satellites into orbit. Many are still there, and we face an ever-increasing risk of collision as we launch more.
As long as humans have been exploring space, we've also been creating a bit of a mess. Orbiting our planet are thousands of dead satellites, along with bits of debris from all the rockets we've launched over the years. This could pose an issue one day.
Roger Stone to Michael Cohen: the men in Trump's orbit implicated in crimes | US news | The
The verdict makes Stone only the latest among a growing list of people once in the president's inner circle who have been convicted on federal charges. Below is a list of others in Trump's orbit – or that of his associates – implicated in federal crimes.

Leonids Meteor Shower Will Peak in Night Skies - The New York Times
All year long as Earth revolves around the sun, it passes through streams of cosmic debris. The resulting meteor showers can light up night skies from dusk to dawn, and if you're lucky you might be able to catch a glimpse.
The next shower you might be able to see is the Leonids. Active between Nov. 6 and Nov. 30, the show peaks around Sunday night into Monday morning, or Nov. 17-18.

If you spot a meteor shower, what you're usually seeing is an icy comet's leftovers that crash into Earth's atmosphere. Comets are sort of like dirty snowballs: As they travel through the solar system, they leave behind a dusty trail of rocks and ice that lingers in space long after they leave.
Astronauts start spacewalk series to fix cosmic ray detector - National News - 13 WTHR
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — Astronauts launched an extraordinarily complicated series of spacewalks Friday to fix a cosmic ray detector at the International Space Station.
Armed with dozens of dissecting tools, Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano removed two protective covers to gain access to the inside of the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer. He handed them to his U.S. spacewalking partner, American Andrew Morgan, for tossing overboard.
"OK, 3-2-1, release," Morgan said as he let go of the 4-foot-long (127-centimeter) shield high above the Pacific.
Starlink ‘train’ traces path across twilight skies – Spaceflight Now
The company said the lower orbit will allow non-functioning satellites to more quickly re-enter the atmosphere and burn up. The satellites launched Monday are “100% demisable,” meaning they are designed to completely burn up during re-entry.
SpaceX says its network will provide coverage over Canada, the northern United States and regions at similar latitudes next year, followed by the launch of global service.
The satellites are only visible near dawn and dusk, when the Earth’s surface is in darkness, but when the spacecraft are in sunlight.
Ride Entertainment | Skyline Attractions release Skywarp Orbit | blooloop
Skyline Attractions is also the creator of Skywarp Classic and Skywarp Horizon. The Skywarp Classic made its debut at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in 2018. The popular Skywarp Horizon opened Sea World San Diego in May 2019 and has been a big influence on the design of the new Skywarp Orbit.
This new ride features a range of enjoyable elements, such as a cutback inversion, and negative g’s on the airtime hill. Furthermore, the ride has a very small footprint. As Chris Gray , Partner and Vice President says, “The small overall size lends well to fitting into tight spaces and budgets. From family-owned properties to theme parks we continue to offer a great coaster experience for a small price and small footprint.”
