‘I just saw a UFO’: Browns QB Baker Mayfield says after visit to Lake Travis | KXAN Austin

AUSTIN, Texas ( WJW ) – Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield says he had a close encounter with the unknown.

According to his Twitter page on Wednesday, he and his wife, Emily Wilkinson, saw a UFO over Lake Travis in the Austin area.

"Almost 100%, Em and I just saw a UFO drop straight out of the sky on our way home from dinner… we stopped and looked at each other and asked if either of us saw it… Very bright ball of light going straight down out of the sky towards Lake Travis. Anybody else witness this?" he tweeted.

Video shows strange lights in Las Vegas sky

MYSTERY WIRE — Dozens of people reported seeing strange lights in the sky over Las Vegas on Monday night. Mystery Wire was later told by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that these lights were actually flares being used by the Air Force over military ranges northwest of Las Vegas.

Since the original story was published, other reports were received from people who said they saw the lights and claim they were not northwest of the Las Vegas valley but appeared to be over the city.

Cancellations impact title races with officials hopeful for SG

Let the debates begin. With the final World Cup downhill of the season canceled and additional weather challenges expected for tomorrow's super G, every clinch will now come with a caveat.

Was Switzerland's Beat Feuz the deserving downhill globe winner? In one camp, the Beat-believers will laud what has surely amazed me over the years: He's rarely off the podium, and over the last four years, UFO sightings are a more common occurrence than Feuz finishing outside the top 10.

China protests over Japan, US statement on human rights | ArkLaTexHomepage

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said China was "strongly dissatisfied and resolutely opposed" to the statement.

The China-Japan statement expressed concern over threats to Taiwan, Beijing's human rights violations in Xinjiang, its activities in the South China Sea and "unilateral action that seeks to change the status quo" over Japan-controlled East China Sea islands that China also claims.

There was no indication that the Alaska talks had been derailed and Zhao said China was prepared to discuss its policies on Xinjiang and Hong Kong.
