Astronomers have discovered a quartet of teenage exoplanets , according to data from NASA's TESS mission.
The planets in question lie a bit over 130 light-years away from Earth. They orbit a pair of little orange dwarf stars, each smaller than the sun , named TOI 2076 and TOI 1808. (TOI is short for TESS Object of Interest.

New research suggests that one reason we haven't confirmed the detection of an exomoon is that our detection methods favor larger planets closer to their stars , which are far less likely to host moons in stable orbits.

After successfully passing final review by NASA and the National Science Foundation, the NEID spectrometer – a new tool for discovering planets outside of our solar system – has begun its scientific mission at Kitt Peak Observatory in Arizona.
Over the past year, researchers at the University of Arizona have led instrument commissioning and demonstrated that the tool meets the technical and scientific requirements for operation.

Why are the stars, planets and moons round, even as comets and asteroids are irregular in shape?
When we look out at the Solar System, we see objects of all sizes – from tiny grains of dust, to giant planets and the Sun. A common theme among those objects is the big ones are (more or less) round, while the small ones are irregular. But why?
For solid objects, that force is opposed by the strength of the object itself. For instance, the downward force you experience due to Earth's gravity does not pull you into the centre of the Earth.
