Urgent iPhone update: experts say could prevent hackers

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - More than 118 million people in the U.S. have an iPhone, according to Statista. If you have not installed the latest update, HappyMac's CEO says you should do that right away for your security's sake.

HappyMac in Wausau's CEO Brian Jojade has been helping people with apple products for more than 30 years. Jojade said many are often leery to do updates immediately, which he says normally is good.

Suspected Iranian Hackers Targeted Several Israeli Organizations for Espionage

Cybersecurity firm Mandiant is tracking the group under its uncategorized moniker UNC3890 , which is believed to conduct operations that align with Iranian interests.

"The collected data may be leveraged to support various activities, from hack-and-leak, to enabling kinetic warfare attacks like those that have plagued the shipping industry in recent years," the company's Israel Research Team noted .

Hackers are using fake WordPress DDoS pages to launch malware | Digital Trends

Hackers are pushing the distribution of dangerous malware via WordPress websites through bogus Cloudflare distributed denial of service ( DDoS ) protection pages, a new report has found.

From here, instructions ask the individual to open the infected file that is disguised as a program called DDOS GUARD, in addition to entering a code.
